​Annette has authored two children’s books with the mission of nurturing a sense of connection with other children around the globe and with the natural world. Through the sales of her books, Annette is proud to support International Justice Mission in their work to end slavery and Trees, Water, & People in their work to care for our planet home.

Quite the Same 

Written in rhyme scheme and delightfully illustrated, Quite the Same will have children chanting along with a magical letter that finds its way to seven children living in seven different parts of the world.

The letter travels the globe, encouraging one child after another. It appears first as a paper airplane, then as a message in a bottle; later it is carried in the mouth of a peace dove.

Young readers are reminded that no matter where we live, what we look like, or what challenges we face, we are not alone. In fact, deep down, we are really quite the same! 
​A portion of the proceeds of Quite the Same goes toward supporting the work of International Justice Mission whose mission is to protect people in poverty from violence by rescuing victims, bringing criminals to justice, restoring survivors to safety and strength, and helping local law enforcement build a safe future that lasts.

Carry

​When the world grows too heavy for one person to carry alone, a young girl discovers how to carry her small piece and invites others to do the same, demonstrating the strength of collaboration and leading the way to a healthier and happier planet. It is only by making the brave decision to carry the world in her heart that she is able to begin to heal its wounds and all those who inhabit it, piece by piece.
